2024 DNC Delegate

I am a Democratic National Convention delegate representing Utah Congressional District 4, and attended the 2024 Democratic National Convention at the United Center in Chicago, IL. I was part of 34 Democratic representatives from our state. https://chicago2024.com/

Who am I? I was a first-time candidate running in the Utah House District 44 race against a Republican incumbent, so I was on the ballot in November, 2024. I’m also all-in, meaning that I intend to do the work to make a difference during my campaign. I’m running for working families. I’m running because I believe our voices matter, but don’t see us represented in Utah politics. I want that to change. Joining the delegation who will vote for Joe Biden Kamala Harris at the DNC is partly history, and partly building with state and national committee people who I intend to work with in the future.

Of 4,521 National Delegates, 34 will come from Utah. 20 are voted in from Congressional Districts. National Delegates then vote for 6 At-Large delegates and 4 Party Leaders (PLEO). The remaining 4 are automatic PLEO delegates (State Party Chair, Vice Chair, 2 National Committee Members). Additionally, there are 3 Utah alternate delegates, and 4 Utah pages who will attend the Democratic National Convention.
